The Brewster Inn is a fine dining establishment with several different dining rooms to accommodate both small parties of 20 - 50 people and wedding receptions up to 175. We also have 17 beautifully appointed guest rooms, five of which have breath-taking views of the lake. Our brick terrace, which overlooks the spacious lawn down to the lakefront, is perfect for dining and dancing.

Weddings are held primarily on Saturday afternoons. During the off-season The Brewster Inn will hold some receptions on Sunday afternoons as well. All receptions take place between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., as our restaurant serves dinner at 6 p.m. each night. For your convenience we have created two Wedding options, each of which is based on a four-hour reception with an open bar for the duration of the event. The minimum attendance (without rental charge) for our receptions is 130. Wedding parties under the minimum number of guests will be billed at half price for each guest under 130. There are some exceptions during the off-season for smaller more intimate receptions.

Special Events Policies and Procedures

Charges and Cancellations
Deposits are required for all special events upon booking ($1000 for Weddings and $100 for Private Parties) and deposits are non-refundable. Please note Menu prices are subject to change. Once a deposit is made, all prices are locked until the event takes place. All charges are subject to 8% sales tax and an 18% gratuity. All wedding prices are based on a four-hour function, if the event extends beyond four hours additional charges may be incurred. If the event is canceled less than one week from the scheduled date, full charges will be assessed. For tax-exempt organizations, a completed tax exemption form (ST-119) is required prior to arrival.
Final Wedding payments are due at the conclusion of the event and preffered payment is in the form of a personal check.

Guarantees
All events are required to provide an expected attendance. Ten days prior to the event we must have the final count, in the case of a sit-down function; we will need exact counts of each entrée chosen. Weddings require a minimum of 130 guests, less than the minimum will insure an additional fee equaling half of the per head price for each guest under 130. Please note there are some exceptions during the off-season months for smaller, more intimate receptions.

Restrictions
All weddings must conclude by 5:00 p.m., as our restaurant does serve dinner at 6:00 p.m. seven days a week. The Brewster Inn must supply all food and beverage products. The Brewster Inn as a licensee is responsible for the administration of the sale and service of alcohol beverages in accordance with the New York L.C.B. regulations. It is house policy therefore that the Inn must supply all alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic beverages will not be served to individuals without proper identification and proof of legal drinking age.
Our Stereo system here at the Brewster Inn unfortunately is not set-up to accommodate I-Pod connections for private parties and weddings.
