150 Days, But Who's Counting...

If you had asked us six months ago if we ever thought we'd be trying to run a business in the middle of a pandemic, we would have never believed you.

...but here we are.

As new business owners we are facing what may go down in history as one of the biggest challenges the industry has ever endured. Information and updates from the government are ever-evolving and it can be a challenge to adapt and keep up. Truth be told, there are some days where it seems worth all the extra effort, and there are some days where we feel ready to throw in the towel.

With each new restriction the emotions ebb and flow. As established restaurants are struggling left and right, we feel blessed to be carving our way through the chaos.

As with everyone, we are unsure of exactly how long we may have to endure. The current projections of restaurants permanently closing ranges anywhere from 35 to 75 percent. Some days it feels like the road to endure is paved with bumps, detours, and off-ramps. This never-ending series of obstacles can be disheartening to say the least.

Each day, we are reminded how lucky we are to be doing what we love. We have always felt supported by this community, but in these current times, we are realizing how much we truly rely on it. Everything -- from the kind words, to the continued takeout support, and the friendly faces coming in for dinner - it gives us strength & purpose.

Thank You.

These certainly are trying times with navigating the rules and regulations of covid. We thank you for your patience and understanding throughout it all. Please know that we are doing our best to stay up to date with the local and state regulations to keep everyone safe and slow the spread of COVID-19 within our state.

One thing we can always promise our customers is transparency. Please feel free to ask us questions and to call on us with any concerns you may have regarding our new protocol for both the hotel or restaurant. With each new update, let’s keep an open dialogue and know that we care about both our staff and our community. We realize that we wouldn’t be who we are today without all of you. Thank you and be safe!
