How to embrace the winter weather in Cazenovia

There is always something to do in Cazenovia... yes, even in the winter.

Winter Special:

Come spend an overnight at The Brewster Inn and you will receive 30% off in the dining room on all food and beverage.

Fine Print: Please note that you cannot combine this discount with other discounts. Also, this discount is not valid on holidays, or for special dining events including pop-up dinners and Chef's Tables.

...and while you are here, we invite you to experience the great outdoors.

Snowshoeing:

From 11:30PM-5:00PM, Wednesday through Sunday, Empire Farm Brewery is offering complimentary snow shoe rentals from now through March. They have 22-acres on the farm, and sit adjacent to miles of Trails kept by Cazenovia Preservation Foundation.

Downhill Ski:

Toggenberg Mountain in the nearby town of Fabius offers great downhill skiing, snowboarding and tubing options for all levels. Ski passes for all-day for adults are $55 and there are great options for hourly passes too! Visit www.skitog.com/tickets-index for more details.

Horse Drawn Sleighrides / Cross-country Skiing & Hiking:

Every weekend, Saturday, December 16, 2017 – Sunday, February 25, 2018 enjoy a 20 minute horsedrawn sleighride (or wagon rides) through the wintery woods at Highland Forest. No reservations needed. First come, first served. All rides will take place weather permitting. The park recommends calling the office ahead of time to check on the schedule.

Highland Forest (1254 Highland Park Road. Fabius, NY 13063) boasts over 20 miles of year-round trails which are the prime attraction at the "Adirondacks of Central New York." The oldest county park contains more than six square miles of rugged forest terrain detailed in free maps available at Skyline Lodge; a self-guided Nature Trail is the perfect introductory hike, or for cross-country skiing.
