🍁 Fall Fest + The Brewster Inn

Cazenovia’s Fall Fest (October 3-5th) offers a spectacular mix of local art, food, nature, performance, and community gatherings across the weekend. And it looks like stunning weather for the weekend and beyond! So here’s how we would recommend immersing yourself—in all the great offerings of The Brewster Inn, the Cazenovia community and all things fall!

Friday, October 3

• 6:00 pm — Manhattan Short Film Festival at the Cazenovia Public Library (100 Albany St)

• 6:30 pm — “Dead Silent: Florence of Arabia” Murder Mystery Dinner at Hampton Inn & Suites (Friends of Lorenzo fundraiser)

• All day / daytime — Street Taco Friday at Meier’s Creek Brewing Co (11 am–4 pm)

• 6:30 pm — Meier’s Movie Night: The Goonies (open shed & s’mores)

We will be open for dinner or drinks by the water that night starting at 5PM! The outdoor bar will be open and patio seating will be available! Look across the lake at the still water and the stunning fall folliage -- for a perfect evening on the water. We also just launched a new fall menu with great seasonal appetizer and entrée options and festive fall cocktails too!

Saturday, October 4

Along Albany Street & in the Village:

• 9:00 am – 2:00 pm — Farmers’ Market at Memorial Park

• 10:00 am – 4:00 pm — Pop-ups, local artisan booths (e.g. at 20|East), farm and maker vendors, face painting, pumpkin painting, etc.

• 10:00 am – 3:00 pm — Fall Fest Book Sale (Friends of the Library, side lawn)

• 10:00 am – 6:00 pm — Fall Harvest Celebration at Critz Farm (corn maze, pumpkins, animals, live music)

• 10:00 am — Dried Flower Arranging at Farmstead 1868 (4690 Shephards Rd)

• 12:30 pm — 3rd Annual Witches Paddle & Costume Contest on Cazenovia Lake

• 1:30 pm — Manhattan Short Film Festival (again) at Cazenovia Public Library

• 3:30 pm — Build a Fall Fairy House (Library + Stone Quarry Art Park)

• 4:00 pm — Live Music: The Barndogs at Madison County Distillery (2412 Rt 20)

• 7:00 pm – 12:00 am — Pancake Breakfast (American Legion, 26 Chenango St) is listed as “7–12 pm” in the schedule (though the time block is unusual—it may mean 7 am start?)

The Brewster Inn is closed tonight for a private event on Saturday, so be sure to get your fix on Friday or Sunday! We are open on Sunday morning for Lakeside Yoga & Fall Mimosas - $25 per person! RSVP's are encouraged as this event sold out last year, and we are set to have stunning weather! Stay afterwards for brunch on the patio (10:30am - 2:00pm), or dinner starting at 3pm.

Sunday, October 5
