History Where You Eat Tour on Tuesday, December 10th

The Madison County Historian’s Office is offering one final 2019 “History Where you Eat,” a program exploring the history of county restaurants with guided tours.

On Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 4 p.m. the tour will begin at the Lorenzo State Historic Site, 17 Rippleton Road, Cazenovia. Attendees may tour the special “Christmas in Candyland” decorated mansion. Admission to this tour is $6 for adults, and $2 for children under 12.

The Lorenzo decoration theme changes annually. Here is a photo of their "Gilded Glamour" from a few years prior.

Attendees will then go across the street to The Brewster Inn at 6 Ledyard Ave., where 5:30 p.m. there will be a reading of 19th and early 20th century holiday letters, followed by a tour.

There is no admission fee for the Brewster Inn letters and tour. To reserve a spot call 315-655-9232.
