This room is in our main house on the second floor. It features a queen bed, stand up shower, along with views of the sprawling front lawn. In the early 1900's this room would have been reserved for the staff member who most closely interacted with the family. The proximity of this room to the other bedrooms on the property would indicate their close trust. This person would have been at the beck and call of the Standard Oil financier and the rest of his family 24/7 in case of an emergency.
All rooms come with Beekman 1802 amenities including shampoo, conditioner, body gel, lotion, make-up removing wipes & soap. Each room is also equipped with an iron, ironing board, hair dryer, cable television, alarm clock, telephone and complimentary wifi internet. Beverages including coffee, tea, and water are available 24 hours per day.
