This room is in our main house on the second floor. It features a king bed, deluxe shower (with multiple heads and jets), a private deck, along with views of picturesque Cazenovia Lake and the sprawling back lawn. In the early 1900's this room would have been a part of the servants quarters.
Just outside the entrance to room #7 sits the original telephone system that allowed the family to call for anything the might have needed - day or night. Long since removed, the original dumbwaiter would have gone up and down to deliver small goods from the kitchen to the second floor in case the family required anything.
Because of this, room #7 is one of our most private guest rooms. It sits on the Westerly side of the building away from most other guest rooms. The small chair and table set on the private deck is a perfect hideaway to enjoy sunlit breakfast or to watch the sunset with a bottle of wine in hand. Just off the deck is a small spiral staircase that will take you down to the back lawn, outdoor bar, and corn hole courts.
All rooms come with Beekman 1802 amenities including shampoo, conditioner, body gel, lotion, make-up removing wipes & soap. Each room is also equipped with an iron, ironing board, hair dryer, cable television, alarm clock, telephone and complimentary wifi internet. Beverages including coffee, tea, and water are available 24 hours per day.
