Snowshoe Sunday at Meier's Creek Brewing Company: Join us on the 2nd and 4th Sundays, January through March.  This year, Snowshoe Sundays will start and end from Meier’s Creek Brewing Company, at 33 Rippleton Road in Cazenovia. We meet at 12:00 pm to get geared up and then hit the trails. You can follow along with a CPF guide for a group snowshoe walk or strike out on your own route. Don’t own snowshoes? That’s no problem. Curling at Meier's Creek Brewing Company: The newest thing to come to Cazenovia this winter is the curling rink at Meier's Creek. Grab a craft beer and test your hand at a sport that you may only get to see at the Winter Olympics every four years. Keep in mind, you need to sign up to participate. Complimentary Snowshoeing at Johnny Appleseed: During winter months, FROSTY maintains the trails for cross country skiing and showshoeing. During the winter, they offer complimentary pairs of snowshoes to be used on their property. No reservation required, just show up. And once you've worked up a little sweat, feel free to check out the artisan shoppes. Their 20,000 Square foot location features over 50 vendor spaces. and their "Apple Kitchen" offers homemade soups, sandwiches and delicious baked goods Saturday and Sunday, along with award winning, New York State wine and beer. Winter Hiking at Chittenango Falls State Park:Â Chittenango Falls State Park transforms into a winter wonder with snow-draped trees and frozen waterfalls. Bundle up and embark on a winter hike along the trails, leading to the stunning Chittenango Falls. It is a sight to see both in the height of summer and in the icy depths of winter. Whenever the falls is frozen, it makes for a stunning photo that seems out of this world! The icy landscape adds a new dimension to the park's beauty, creating a serene and tranquil atmosphere.
